History[]
U-17 Camp[]
In the manga, Handa was seen as a member of the first court when the losers arrived to tell them that the Court 2 members were themselves. However, the Court 1 members, including himself did not accept this and shot tennis balls at them. Tanishi manages to return these all by himself, surprising Handa and the others.
Later on, Handa appeared in the series as he is listed down as a player chosen to play a member of the 1st Stringers. He and his doubles partner Miyamoto faced No. 18 and 19, Taira Yoshiyuki and Hara Tetsuya. They were utterly defeated by the two until Momoshiro and Kenya arrives. They then went to the infirmary to have their injuries be treated.
