For four tournaments they have been the single host country. They are a strong country with a world ranking of 7, although in the first match of the finals they had to yield against France. Leon and co are familiar faces to the Japanese representative Atobe Keigo.
They are ranked as the No.7 team on the U-17 World Cup Ranking.
