Peter Ranbiell is a High School Representative for the Switzerland U-17 World Cup Team.
Appearance[]
Peter greatly resembles Kite in terms of facial features as the former also wears glasses. The only difference is the hair color, with Peter having a blonde hair.
Personality[]
He crushes all the opponents by feeling!! Cheerful and sociable, he can match the wavelength of enemy and foe. Although sometimes he feels a bit bad for defeating the opponent’s pride. Being able to open Henri’s difficult heart, he’s the lubricant of the team.
History[]
Group League[]
Peter and his partner, Henri Nobel III played Doubles 2 during the Group League against Japan. Their opponents were Ryuji Omagari and Eishiro Kite. As shown in the manga, Henri comments that Omagari moves like a ninja with his Nitoryuu. Henri tries to outsmart him, however, Kite was able to return the shot with his Teleportation Step. However, Henri notices the weakness of the step as he returns the ball quickly, making Kite unable to make a second teleportation step. Peter commends Henri saying that he is as always dependable and then strategizes once again how Omagari and Kite can be defeated. Eventually, Peter and Henri wins the match easily, 6-3.
In the anime, Peter and the other representatives had only cameo appearances. First was their arrival during the Pre-World Cup and second was during Amadeus' match against Akutsu in which they were seen watching.
Playing Styles & Techniques[]
According to the Official Fanbook Volume 23.5, he is an all-rounder.
He won’t let anything escape from his strategy. The Swiss boast about the embodiment of talent.
Together with Henri, they are masters of doubles. They cultivated their game by using their creative expression the best they can, so no matter how strong the opponent is, he’ll find an appropriate strategy.
