The Rikkaidai pair had no trouble with the Seigaku pair. Rikkaidai only lost one game. However, in the anime, the Seigaku pair put up more of a fight. They still lost with the score of 7-5.
Jackal was too defensive while Bunta had net play up his sleeves. It was also one of the matches where Kaido and Momoshiro learned to work together despite being fierce rivals.
