Trivia[]
- There are only 2 high schoolers who are not in their 3rd year, Tokugawa and Mori, while 3 middle schoolers are not in their 3rd year which are Kintaro, Akaya, and Ryoma.
- Former No. 5 holder Kazena Kaji served as replacement for Atsukyō Tōno after injuring his knees from the match against Greece's executioner doubles Apollon Stephanopoulos and Orion Stephanopoulos. Atsukyō then moved to the medical team and even treated Ikuto Kimijima's wounds after his match against France's Timothé Moreau and Tristan Bardot.
- Yamabuki's Kiyosumi Sengoku served as replacement for Jin Akutsu after his loss against Switzerland's Alexander Amadeus. This was a deal between Akutsu and Hōō Byōdōin to which if Akutsu loses the match, he should return to Japan immediately.
- Rikkaidai's Renji Yanagi served as replacement for Gin Ishida after obtaining an injury from the match against Switzerland's power doubles Randy Pugu and Albert Federer. Only Yanagi has been able to play on an official match among the replacements as he had played doubles with Juzaburō Mōri on the World Cup Quarter-Finals against France. Yanagi was also originally a part of the intel team, together with his mentor, Akuto Mitsuya and long-time friend, Sadaharu Inui.
- Hyotei's Yūshi Oshitari served as replacement for Shūichirō Ōishi after obtaining injuries from the match against Greece's Thalatta Hercules. Yūshi only filled in for Ōishi during the Quarter-Finals after saving Takeshi Momoshiro from the enchantments of Aramenoma U-17 players. Oishi then became a member of the medical team.
