Background[]

Habu Itto is a manga-only character from rival school Midoriyama in the series Prince of Tennis. He is in his 2nd Year of Middle School like all the other regulars for Midoriyama.

Appearance[]

His hair is dark and is spiked up in everything direction.

Personality[]

He and his Midoriyama teammates are shown to be arrogant as while they were being interviewed by Shiba Saori he thought that the questions were too childish.

History[]

Regionals[]

Habu and Midoriyama reach the quarterfinals of the Kanto Regional Tournament and meet Seigaku. They lose however they are still able to go to the Nationals.

Nationals[]

Habu and Midoriyama are eliminated by Joshuin Dai Fuzoku Shimizu in the first round of the Nationals. The databook states he lost in Singles 3 to their player Asahina.

Tennis Record[]

Playing Style and Techniques[]

Like all of the Midoriyama members, Habu’s form and ball control is impressive; he participated in an exercise using a metal pole as a replacement for a “wall” for practice, showing that he has confidence in his control and precision. He seems to play both Singles and Doubles, but his skill in either category is unknown, as he lost in all of his recorded matches. When playing his only recorded Doubles match, his partner was Minamoto.

During Midoriyama’s match against Seigaku, he played Doubles 1 and was able to take 3 games off of the Momoshiro/Kikumaru pair, but ultimately ended up losing without getting their opponents to truly play seriously. He has also paired up with Kitamura on an occasion.
