Gouki Doumoto is the vice-captain of Ginka Middle School's tennis club.
Personality[]
Doumoto is also as arrogant as Fukushi, using his reputation as a power serve to make him look more skilled than before.
Playing Style and Techniques[]
Doumoto seems to be one of Ginka’s best players, as even after 5 members of his team lost against Ryoma, including the captain Fukushi, his teammates put their faith in him to defeat Ryoma. Oishi noted in a side-conversation with Tezuka that Doumoto’s built a solid reputation for his height and Power Serve, believing that he would be troublesome. Nevertheless, he lost without any effort from Ryoma, and like the rest of his teammates, was too scared to face the Seigaku regulars.
Power Serve
Doumoto’s signature power serve that gave him his reputation, its effectiveness isn’t known as it was never shown in the manga (although Ryoma defeated him easily in the manga regardless) and in the anime, Ryoma returned it effortlessly.
