Shiraishi and Kimijima continuously fend off their attacks. Finally, an opportunity presents itself. Kimijima hits a lob through the middle, aiming for the backhands of the right-handed Tristan and the left-handed Timothée, and looking for a weak backhand smash from either of them to attack.
However, much to Japan's shock, the French slam a smash winner right between Shiraishi and Kimijima. It turns out that both Tristan and Timothée are ambidextrous and are now showing their true colors.
