Playing Style and Techniques[]
Chikabayashi's potential is unknown, as none of his matches were fully shown. He's skilled enough to be a pre-regular of the Hyotei team and play in the Prefectuals to help guide his team to the Kanto Regionals. However, he's not strong enough to be a true Regular and he's weaker than all of the Regulars, Taki Haginosuke, Fudomine players Ishida and Sakurai, and St. Rudolph players Akazawa and Kaneda.
His Doubles combination is also worse than Akazawa and Kaneda, although Akazawa is rather new to Doubles. He is always partnered up with Ogawa, a fellow pre-Regular.
