He faced Kunimitsu Tezuka in singles three in the group league. During their first game, he was unable to play evenly with him. However, as Tezuka uses his Tezuka Phantom and Zone alternately, he begins to doubt if Tezuka is really a middle schooler. Tezuka then uses his Hyakuren Jitoku no Kiwami and finishes Chabonga.
