This was one of the most prolific matches two years prior to the storyline. This is a flashback event that takes place in Golden Age 094: Byoudoin vs Oni (Part 1) and concludes in Golden Age 095: Byoudoin vs Oni (Part 2).

Two Years Prior to the Storyline[]

An intense match between Oni and Byodoin is on the way. Its currently 1 game all. The audience are amazed at the amount of power in the match. They are both noted to having unknown statistics.

Very quickly the score becomes 4 games all. Byodoin uses two of his world techniques but Oni doesn't have an issue returning them. The game count becomes 5-4, in Oni's favour. Oni is the first person to press Byodoin but he doesn't feel like losing at all.

The audience can't see what's happening. Oni notices that Byodoin's movements are faster. Byodoi reveals he obtained power from another dimension.

Byodoin reveals Destruction by hitting the Super Sweet Spot. However, Oni manages to return it, despite the wall being him being broken. Oni sustains a cut on his cheek but he sees a trinket from one of the orphanage children. He is reminded of their wish and he unveils Kijin Aura, in the form of a demon.

Byodoin's forehead bleeds furiously. Oni wins the intense match 7-6.
