Question about the talk section
Hello!! Im a bit new in this wiki, but i noticed that the talk section was disabled aswell as the message walls. Me and a few people agree that the wiki feels a very lonely and a bit intimidating without these two iconic features, specially because the only way to talk is through making blogs!! I understand theres only one active admin at the moment, but itd be great if you could consider it 🙇 Thank you!! I will keep editing the wiki as usual either way.
Wiki Questions (Theme and Commenting)
Came across this wiki since I was thinking of re-watching the show, before the new season comes out. though the them of the night makes it very hard to look at the pages on this wiki, switched over to day and the bright blue clashes with the pale black from the drop down menu. I honestly think that both themes colors should be reworked into something more modern like most other fandoms.
Why is commenting disabled on the wiki? I've always thought that it was part of the culture of fandom to have comments and see what others think of the characters and such, kind of dissapointed that there is none of that here, what do you guys think?

Just letting all know that from now on, just add the relevant sub-category rather than 3-10 categories. The sub-category is already linked to the major category. The major category looks less cluttered that way. A maximum of 2 categprioes would suffice for music pages.
When you go on the major category page you'll see all the sub-categories that should be there. This is what it should look like. See how its not clustered?

New Prince of Tennis OVA
Hello everyone! I'd like to welcome everyone who has been following our wiki up until now, as well as newcomers! This is an update of the New Prince of Tennis OVA series that will be airing this fall. According to the prince of tennis official website the sequel will be airing featuring the 1st stringers. The reason why they stopped the New Prince of Tennis is since the anime had caught up to the manga too quickly so they halted it. Further news will be announced at a later time. Last year, they had aired a PV however it had very few brand new clips. If you want to watch it click here.

Trivia Classifications
Hi, well as some visitors have noticed, our character pages have two main classifications for trivia. This post is just so editors and readers will know what is considered what and how we seperate the trivia section.
This is also to announce a possible new trivia section known as A Word for the Two or Words from Rival Players (depending on the character). This is actually comments from the characters, and is a part of the Pair Puri Volume sets, and will only be available for the 20 characters that are covered in the Pair Puri fanbooks.
Character is basically trivia about the character as if he was a real person. This section of Trivia does not include things we have listed in Personal Information, but contains:

Another POT OVA Episode?
I found this pictures on one of my flashdrives, and now that I think about it I don't really know what episode they are from. They might be from another fan disc but I think only one of them for the OVA series is released (Message in a Bottle), and another one coming for NPOT.
Protect Pages
Going to start putting all the schools under protect. I suggest the other admins to start protecting to not let anonymous visitors from editing. If they want to edit they can login to their account. This way we know who's trolling our pages, and we can just ban that account... permanently if possible.
And just a heads up, I'm changing the school pages from being called middle school to junior high. Middle school grades only range from 6th grade to 8th grade ewhile junior highs are 7th grade to 9th grade. There actually is a difference between them.

Edit Button
This has been bugging me for a long while now, but who changed the coding button to make it say "Edit this page" instead of edit? Whoever changed it please revert it back to the original one that only said "Edit".
The coding change made it so page titles are right next to the button when the titles are supposed to be right above the edit button and the talk page bubble. The edit and talk page buttons are also supposed to be aligned to the left of the page, not right next to the page title.
Protecting Pages
I've gone and made our most popular pages protected from unregistered editors, and I've made it so that only the admins may change the page names. I will be doing so with the other pages that have ū, ō, ī, and Ō in their page names.
Just giving a heads up, and so that we can keep the pages named the way the founder had wanted them.
NPOT OVA
YAY!!! So excited. They just announced that the New Prince of Tennis series is going to have an OVA series (totally different from the specials). It's a continuation of ryoma-tachi at the U-17 camp and they will also show all the 1st stringers.

Cascading Protection
Does anyone know why the cascading protection option won't work? I'm trying to add it the pages with the most links so anonymous contributors won't be able to mess with the rest wikia, and I won't have to go through the wikia page by page doing it.

Hello, POT Fans! Today, I thought I would do something a little different than you would see on the wiki. One of the most interesting (and fantastical) part about prince of tennis is the different states and and modes that the players can go into. I've noticed on the wiki that the descriptions for a lot of said states were not very long, because Konomi doesn't give us a lot to go on. So, this article will be based majorly on opinion. How did you get into PoT?
Simple question. How did you find out about it and what do you think is the coolest thing about PoT?
I began reading the manga and wanted to watch the anime. Anime > Manga. Heh. I love how each character is portrayed. Cocky Ryoma but his moves compensate for it etc. The most annoying character is Horio. Heh.
Prince of Tennis Universe
This is mainly out of curiousity towards the entire series, but on this Prince of Tennis wikia site, where it talks about the match results for different players, it says that the matches take place in 2008. My question is that wouldn't the series actually take place in 2001?
The reason I say this is because at one point in the series Ryoma goes to America to play in the US Open, and it states that he defeated the #1 ranked player, Lleyton Hewitt, however, Hewitt was only ranked #1 once in his career and he gained that ranking on November 19, 2001.
This question is purely out of curiousity, I really couldn't care less, I was just wondering if the series was following a specific timeline or if it was just going along on its own.

I realize this is a back to back blog post but I thought I would give an update status for me. School has started back up again and with homework every night, after school activities, writing, and trying to keep contact with my friends; my edits might not be as big or quite as frequent as before. I'm going to start working on the episodes and chapters next so there's a heads up there. Changes
So happy right now because I have just been given Administrative and Bureaucratic rights for this wikia so that means, *insert drum roll*, better edits! Lol I'm new to this kind of thing so I'll continue doing my best to improve this wikia till it rivals the best! :D Hopefully along the way more users will appear and help out and make amazing results to these pages. Lazy Editing
Despite all my edits most of them are little things or clean ups from most main pages. I realize I'm pretty lazy at editing the more larger ones that need the most help like episodes or chapters. It might be because I do most of my editing late at night that I'm too tired to make big changes later or I'm not too confident on my writing/editing skills yet. I hope soon to finish off at least the first season of the anime and maybe the first few volumes in the next few months. To Make Better
Okay I've been editing stuff on here for at least 2 years now and after looking through, there are some changes that really need to be made. There are tons of useless pages that are made out of spite and pure random stupidity that need to be removed or fixed. I've been trying to edit more recently and I'm getting frustrated with the changes I see. I'm just a kid that simply likes to be able to read things in a simple and easy to read format.
