U-17 World Cup Group League[]
Albert and Randy went up against Duke and Gin. In the manga, they were unable to return Gin's Reverse Surge Shot in the first game, after in which they revealed that they can still gear up to a higher level, showing their highly built muscles and destroying their uniforms. Duke then also activates his play ball mode after seeing this. Eventually, both Albert and Randy wins the match against Gin and Duke with liltle difficulty, 6-1. They then watch their captain's match, Alexander Amadeus, against Akutsu Jin. They were all surprised how Akutsu was able to score against Amadeus. Later on, as Amadeus wins the match, they advance to the quarter-finals, winning against Portugal U-17, however, loses against the USA U-17.
In the anime, Albert and the other Swiss representatives only had cameo appearances. First was during the start of the Pre-World Cup as they enter the venue and second, while watching during Amadeus' match against Akutsu.

Albert is an all-rounder power-player. He and his doubles partner easily overpowered both Duke (Japan's powerhouse) and Gin (Shitenhoji's powerhouse). They lost only one game throughout the match, proving to be more of a powerhouse than Duke and Gin combined.
He boasts of being the Swiss’ team’s (1) absolute power. Before he played Randy, he was called ‘the red storm that blazed across Bern', the stuff of legends.
